SPM 2006, Paper 1, Question 23

The air pressure in a car tyre is 200kPa at a temperature of 25oC. What is the air pressure in the tyre at a temperature of 37oC?

I use P1/T1 = P2/T2, but my answer is 296 kPa, but the answer given is 208kPa. Is the answer wrong?

Had you changed temperature to kelvin ?
\[
(\theta + 273)K

Be thankful.

use Kelvin for temperature.

P1/T1 = P2/T2
200k/298 = P2/310
P2 =208.05kPa
